Originating as a Himalayan trekking company, Ann Brooks and Noel Walshe founded Classic Nepal in 1985. In 1998 our name changed to Classic Journeys. We are now one of the most respected worldwide adventure travel companies in the business.

    Classic Journeys Office Our aim is simple, to provide our clients with the best possible adventure holiday. In order to achieve this the Directors, Ann Brooks and Noel Walshe, take a “hands on approach” and are personally involved in all aspects of the company, from running the office to leading and researching new journeys. We constantly monitor our holidays, personally checking out both old and new destinations and listening carefully to our clients’ feedback in order to ensure you have a wonderful holiday.     Classic Journeys is a fully bonded ATOL tour operator, ATOL number 3022, you can book in complete confidence that your payment is protected. The Civil Aviation Authority’s ATOL scheme provides financial protection for your air holidays and flights arrangements; this is a legal requirement for anyone selling air holidays to the public. In order to obtain this licence we continually satisfy rigorous standards and provide a financial bond.

    Directions to Classic Journeys from the South M1 Junction 28

  • Leave the M1 at Junction 28

  • At the roundabout take the A38 towards Mansfield

  • Take the slip road B6406

  • At the roundabout take the second exit, continuing on the B6406

  • Pass through the village of Hilcote to a T junction

  • Turn left onto the B6026

  • Continue on this road round a sharp bend

  • At the mini roundabout turn right through the village of Newton

  • Pass under the old railway line and on to a T junction where you turn right

  • At the mini roundabout turn right

  • Classic Journeys cark park is approximately 700m down on the right hand side

  • Leave the M1 at Junction 29

  • At the roundabout take the A617 towards Chesterfield

  • Immediately turn left onto the A6175 sign posted to Claycross

  • Pass through the village of Holmewood to the second roundabout

  • Take the 1st exit onto the B6039 signposted to Tibshelf

  • Pass through the village of Hardstoft

  • At the mini roundabout turn right

  • Pass through the village of Tibshelf

  • Classic Journeys cark park is approximately 700m past the church on the left hand side
